Lily Allen's Wondering Where Her New Album Is

Lily Allen has voiced some concern over the indefinite release of her second, as-yet-untitled record. In a MySpace posting, she explained, "It has been finished for a while now, I don't really know what's going on with it. The record industry is a very political place at the moment and I am on EMI Records. Lots of people have been fired or have taken redundancy recently as the company was taken over by a private equity firm called Terra Firma."

According to Billboard.com, Allen "sounds as lyrically confident as ever" on the new effort, with "Everyone's At It" and "I Don't Know" taking on a "more electronic sound." To hear for yourself, head over to www.myspace.com/lilymusic, where some new demos have been posted for public consumption.
