CineChart: 'College' director Deb Hagan's Top 10 Collegiate Films

Off-color adolescent comedies are in high demand these days, with the success of last summer’s Superbad having fully resurrected the genre. Contemporary films of this breed owe a lot to similar movies of yesteryear, from rowdy ‘80s classics to modern day films making their way into the higher education canon. College is a raunch-fest that will satiate audiences in search of coarse laughs, centering around three high school friends who pretend to be college students on a weekend campus visit. Run-ins with peppy sorority sisters, rowdy frat brothers, and others catalyze a series of events that initiate them into university life in various bawdy ways. Director Deb Hagan shares with ARTISTdirect her list of Top 10 College-themed films. Rather than hitting the books, hit the DVD player and watch them prior to seeing Hagan's film on August 29th.
