Drama finds a distributor
John Leguizamo Takes His Shoes to IFC
Where God Left His Shoes, a family drama starring John Leguizamo, has found a North American distributor. The film, produced by Vulcan Productions, will be released domestically by IFC Films.The drama features Leguizamo as an ex-boxer who is forced into a homeless shelter with his wife, played by Leonor Varela. Leguizamo's character embarks on a New York City sojourn with his stepson, searching for work so that the family can move into better digs in a housing project. The film was directed by Salvatore Stabile, whose last film was 1996's Brooklyn-based murder drama, Gravesend. Shoes will be released in theaters in December.
