Life Imitates Art for David Duchovny

David Duchovny stars as a sex-obsessed playboy in his hit Showtime series Californication. Apparently, art has spilled over into the real life for the actor, who has checked into a rehabilitation facility for his sex addiction. The actor has been married to actress Tea Leoni since 1997. The couple have two children. The actor reportedly has an addiction to web pornography and hasn't committed marital indiscrections. It's been said that Leoni has been long aware of her husband's issues.

In a statement released by the 48-year-old actor's lawyer, he said, "I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family." Ironically enough, Duchovny's character in the 2005 film Trust the Man was a pornography-watching cad, too.
