Elton John, Lily Allen Trade Words At GQ Awards

Tuesday night's GQ Awards—a tie-in with the magazine's annual "Men of the Year" issue—turned ugly/amusing at one point as Lily Allen and Elton John sparred in front of an audience that included celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, producer Mark Ronson, and London mayor Boris Johnson. The brief bout began when Allen introduced a "very special point in the evening." To which John replied, "What, you are going to have another drink?" (Allen was visibly intoxicated.)

And Allen's response? A simple "Fuck off Elton. I'm 40 years younger than you. I have my whole life ahead of me." The pop icon didn't take that lightly, saying, "I could still snort you under the table."

Another cringe-worthy moment came soon after, as John introduced Tony Bennett and said the singer is 82 years old. "I'll still [have sex with] him," Allen said.
