Slipknot, The Game Face Off in Billboard Recount
Billboard reported its tightest Top 200 countdown ever this week, with The Game's LAX initially edging ahead of Slipknot's All Hope Is Gone by just 13 units. A recount found the latter beating the Game by 1,134 copies, however: 239,516 albums sold according to Nielsen SoundScan numbers, as compared to the rapper's 238,382.Elsewhere in the world, All Hope Is Gone has scored the No. 1 slot in Australia, Austria, Canada, Finland, New Zealand, Sweden and Switzerland. Not to mention No. 2 in Belgium, France, Germany, Japan and the UK, and No. 3 in Norway. And to think everyone was worried about the Game facing off with Fiddy a couple months ago!
