Cast filling out for Quentin Tarantino flick

Diane Kruger, Til Schweiger Join Cast of Inglorious Bastards

German-born actress Diane Kruger and German actor Til Schweiger have joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino's forthcoming World War II epic, Inglorious Bastards. Kruger takes the role of glamorous German actress Bridget Von Hammersmark, which was originally intended for Nastassja Kinski. Rumor has it that Tarantino even flew to Germany to meet with Kinski to try and coax her to take the role. Kruger will speak both German and English for the role.

The film will feature a French girl who seeks revenge on the Nazis, in addition to following a troupe of American Nazi killers. Schweiger will portray a Nazi killer, with Brad Pitt now officially on board to play head Nazi slayer Lt. Aldo Raine. Mike Myers has also been cast in the film. Shooting begins in Germany in October.
