Susan Sarandon, Richard Dreyfuss, Edward Norton Frolic in Leaves of Grass

Susan Sarandon, Richard Dreyfuss, and Edward Norton will all star in Leaves of Grass, a comedic thriller written by Norton and directed by Tim Blake Nelson. Norton will also produce.

Nu Image/Millennium Films will produce and finance the film, which finds Norton tackling a dual role, portraying twin brothers, one of which is an Ivy League professor and the other a smart but troubled marijuana grower. The professor brother returns to his hometown in Oklahoma after a mix up with a local drug lord, portrayed by Dreyfuss. Sarandon will play the twins' mother. Keri Russell is being pursued by producers to take a role as a love interest for one of the brothers.

Lucy DeVito, daughter of Danny DeVito, and DeVito's wife Rhea Perlman, have roles in the film. Shooting begins on September 22 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
