"8 Films to Die For" will return to nationwide theaters
After Dark Horrorfest Scheduled for January
The third annual After Dark Horrorfest, also known as "8 Films to Die For," has been slotted to take place in theaters nationwide from January 2 through January 9 of next year. The 2009 fest line up will feature From Within, which stars Elizabeth Rice and Rumer Willis. The film follows an outbreak of suicides that occur in a small town. Other films on the slate include Slaughter, The Broken, Perkins 14, and The Butterfly Effect: Revelation.The last three films to round out the lineup will be announced shortly. After Dark has also teamed up with YouTube to find the next scream queen. Contestants are encouraged to submit 90-second videos on YouTube and then audition on either October 7 in New York or October 9 in Los Angeles for the title of Miss Horrorfest III, the official spokesperson of Horrorfest.
