Ben Affleck Moves Into The Town
Ben Affleck continues his career comeback as an actor and director after struggling through the infamous "Bennifer" era. Affleck is currently negotiating to direct and star in The Town, a combination of a dark heist and romance for Warner Brothers. The film will be produced by GK Films and its owner/operator, Graham King. Affleck will begin rewriting the existing script for the film, which is based on the novel Prince of Thieves. The Town will center on a love triangle among a female bank manager, a career thief with whom she was romantically involved, and an FBI agent who is smitten with the manager in addition to chasing the thief and his gang before they can pull off another scam. The film would be set in Charlestown, Massachusetts, a blue-color Boston suburb, which is familiar territory for Affleck, who grew up in Massachusetts. Affleck would portray the longtime criminal.
