Webbie Arrested After High-Speed Chase
Webbie, the Baton Rouge-based rapper who released Savage Life 2 earlier this year, was charged with felony eluding, driving under the influence and misdemeanor possession of marijuana after a high-speed chase Sunday.Police in the Hattiesburg area of Mississippi tried to pull Webbie (real name: Webster Gradney Jr.) over for a traffic violation when he ignored them, collided with another vehicle and sped away. Officials later found his 2009 Dodge Challenger in a parking lot and arrested Webbie after discovering him hiding in a gray sedan. He's now being held at the Forrest County Jail.
