Sammy Hagar Becomes First Loud & Proud Signing
Loud & Proud Records—a Roadrunner imprint focusing on established artists—has made Sammy Hagar its first signing. While the former Van Halen frontman plans on releasing Cosmic Universal Fashion November 18, the album's title track and lead single has already hit redrocker.com in video form. The YouTube-circulated clip recalls Van Halen's "Right Now" video in terms of its call to mobilize listeners."We are light years ahead of where we thought we'd be in 1992, yet there will always be issues that continue to need our attention," Hagar said in a statement. "With the upcoming election, global and national issues are at the forefront of everyone's minds. Cosmic Universal Fashion is not about supporting left or right, blue or red, but rather an attempt to appeal to people on a personal level to get involved."
