DJ AM, Travis Barker Survive Jet Crash
DJ AM and former blink-182 drummer Travis Barker are currently recovering from critical smoke inhalation and burn injuries after a Learjet crash that left four other people killed near the Columbia, South Carolina airport on Friday. Both of the artists are expected to make a full recovery.Federal officials have said that a tire likely blew just before the jet's takeoff, forcing pilot Sarah Lemmon and co-pilot James Bland to try and keep the vehicle on the ground. They couldn't stop the takeoff, however, so the jet crashed, killing Bland, Lemmon and two of Barker and AM's employees, Chris Baker and Charles Still.
