Matisyahu Announces EP, Fall Tour
Matisyahu has wrapped up a new EP in time for his extensive fall tour, which runs between an October 18 stop in Milwaukee, WI, and a December 18 show in Burlington, VT. Due out on October 18 through Epic, Shattered features four songs ("Two Child One Drop," "I Will Be Light," "Smash Lies," "So Hi So Lo") from the Light album that'll arrive in early 2009. David Kahne produced the effort, which features guest appearances from Sly & Robbie and Norwood Fisher of Fishbone."[Light's songwriting process was] a lot different than I've done it before," Matisyahu said in a recent Billboard.com interview. "Before, I've just kind of listened to some music and let my free association kind of take over and just write whatever is on my mind."
