Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau to Retreat

Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau captured fame 12 years ago as a pair of snappy singletons in the dating comedy Swingers. The pair are reuniting for Couple's Retreat, which isn't a sequel to their star-marking vehicle, but a new comedy for Universal Pictures. Favreau wrote the film, with Peter Billingsley to direct.

The plot revolves around four couples who head to a tropical island resort, with one of the couples there to patch up their marriage. The other three couples are there solely to enjoy some fun in the sun. Vaughn will also take a producer credit on the film, which is scheduled to start filming in late October in both Bora Bora and in Los Angeles. The original idea for the film was presented and pitched by Vaughn.
