Comedian Zach Galifianakis Gets a Hangover

Deadpan comedian Zach Galifianakis has nabbed the lead role in Warner Brothers' forthcoming comedy, Hangover. The North Carolina native will star opposite Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helms. Galifianakis, Cooper , and Helms will star as a trio of best friends who head to Las Vegas for a wild bachelor party, only to end up losing the groom 40 hours before his wedding. Bartha will portray the hapless groom. Legendary Pictures will co-produce the film with Warner Brothers, while Roadtrip director Todd Phillips will direct. Filming began last weekend.

In other Galifianakis news, the funnyman has also landed a role on the forthcoming HBO series Bored to Death, which stars Jason Schwartzman as Jonathan, a writer with a drinking problem. Galifianakis will play Ray, a comic book artist who doubles as Jonathan's best friend.
