David Duchovny, Demi Moore Keeping Up With the Joneses

Recovering sex addict David Duchovny, Demi Moore, and Amber Heard will attempt to portray the perfect family in the forthcoming socially charged dramedy The Joneses. Echo Lake will produce the film.

Gary Cole also has a role in the film, which focuses on a seemingly perfect family that moves into a picturesque suburban neighborhood and is admired by their neighbors. However, they turn out to be a manufactured "fake family" put together by a marketing company to help introduce luxury goods to quaint neighborhoods worldwide.

Duchovny and Moore will play the faux married couple. Duchovny's character will have a crisis of conscience, while Moore will play a career-oriented woman who develops feelings for her fake husband. Heard is the couple's "daughter," who tries to seduce Duchovny. The film will begin production in Atlanta in October.
