John Darnielle's vocal support of Kaki King's axe-slaying abilities has led to a tour and limited six-track EP. The co-headlining trek—dubbed "The Last Happy Night of Your Life"—touches down in Chicago on October 13 and finishes up with dates in Brooklyn and New York on November 8-9.

The pair's collaborative Mountain Goats/Kaki King disc, Black Pear Tree, will only be available at the shows.
