The Hold Steady Cancel Entire UK Run

With no explanation other than the rumored illness of an unknown band member, The Hold Steady has cancelled their UK tour, which was set to run from an Oxford stop tonight through a London gig on October 8. The band's publicist has been quiet about the scrapped shows, although the Hold Steady are still expected to hit Paris and a number of other cities between October 9 and December 21, including dates with Drive-By Truckers and Counting Crows.
