Paul McCartney Reboots Fireman Side Project
Paul McCartney and Killing Joke co-founder Martin "Youth" Glover have completed their third album as Fireman. Due out November 17 through McCartney's MPL imprint, Electric Arguments is the first Fireman LP to feature vocals and straight-up songwriting. (The others veered into ambient/dance-music territories.)According to a statement from the duo, Electric Arguments was recorded in 13 days over the course of nearly a year, with each session devoted to one track. "[It was] made with no record company restraints or a set release date," the statement adds. "[We had] complete artistic and creative freedom."
