Diddy Pairs Up With 'Survivor' Producer

Hotshot reality TV producer Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?) has teamed up with Sean "Diddy" Combs for a new MTV series called StarMaker. Set to hit the network in early 2009, it'll pit Diddy-picked solo artists against one another, as well as put them all through a "boot camp" that includes lessons on performing, the paparazzi and more.

"It's a privilege to partner with Mark Burnett on my latest television venture," Combs said in a statement. "I am confident that we will do great things together with StarMaker and beyond."

Previous Diddy-approved reality shows include Making the Band and I Want to Work For Diddy.
