Alice In Chains Reveal New Album
Alice In Chains have promised to record their first full-length in 13 years this fall. Issuing a statement on their Web site, a band rep—someone named Baldy—wrote, "October will arrive and Alice In Chains will reconvene to record the new album. So as 2008 winds down, band activity will be gearing up, and at some point in 2009 you'll finally hear what I've been raving about for the last several months."Layne Staley, Alice In Chain's original vocalist, died of a drug overdose in 2002. His last record with the group was 1995's self-titled effort. Staley's replacement will be William DuVall, who toured with the band recently.
