Oprah Winfrey Lending Voice to Disney Feature
The reigning queen of daytime television, Oprah Winfrey, is lending her famous voice to the forthcoming Disney animated feature The Princess and the Frog. The divine Miss O, who has exercised her vocal talents in other animated films, including Bee Movie, will voice the character of Eudora, mother of Princess Tiana, the film's main character. Tiana will be voiced by Aninka Noni Rose.The film is scheduled for a late 2009 release and is set in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Tiana is Disney's first heroine of African-American descent.
