Andrew Bird has released a new live record through his Web store, http://www.andrewbird.net/shop.shtml. Captured at La Tulipe last September, Live in Montreal features a backing band of Martin Dosh (a.k.a. Dosh) and Jeremy Ylvisaker. In other Bird news, the whistling singer/multi-instrumentalist is currently on tour and recently wrapped up a new studio album called Noble Beast. It'll arrive on January 27 through Fat Possum. According to a New York Times story last June, Bird is "concerned about how much I like it." Poor guy.
