Scars on Broadway Cancel All Appearances
Scars on Broadway, the side project of System of a Down's guitarist/backup vocalist (Daron Malakian) and drummer (John Dolmayan), have cancelled their North American tour and an October 14 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. In a statement, Malakian said "his heart wasn't into touring" and revealed little else.Rumors of a SOAD reunion are circulating as a result. Don't get your hopes up yet, though. Frontman Serj Tankian was already talking about a second solo album in a Rolling Stone interview this past August, adding that, "We haven't decided what the future contains, whether it contains System or not, and that's fine."
