Shane Black to Direct Cold Warrior for Universal
Lethal Weapon scribe Shane Black, known for his work on action-adventure films, including The Long Kiss Goodnight and Robocop 3, is "black" in the saddle again. The writer/director/producer, who has remained semi-active in the biz since 1998, will direct Cold Warrior for Universal Pictures.The film will center on a Cold War-era spy who comes out of retirement and teams up with a younger agent to battle a domestic terror threat orchestrated by Russians. Chuck Mondry wrote the script.
