The Beastie Boys Plan Brief Swing State Tour

The Beastie Boys announced details of their "Get Out and Vote" tour last week, including some dates (October 28, November 1-2) and such supporting acts as Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper, Norah Jones and Tenacious D. In an E-mail statement, the group explained, "This election is too important to stay at home. We hope that you can come out, have a nice night, dance, sing, get your freak on, and then wake up the next morning and get everyone that you possibly can to get out and vote."
