Steve Carell Signs First-Look Deal with Warner Bros.
Comedic maestro Steve Carell has inked a three-year first-look deal with Warner Brothers. Carell has formed Carousel Productions, whose offices will be housed on the WB lot.The deal comes hot on the heels of Carell's sleeper summer hit Get Smart. The studio is working on a sequel where Carell will reprise his role as Agent Maxwell Smart, but the film won't be counted as part of the first-look deal. Carell also plans to produce films that he will not be starring in, according to the terms of the agreement. The actor is currently attached to star in 20th Century Fox's Date Night, where he and Tina Fey will portray a married couple.
