Nightmare Before Christmas Returns to El Capitan

The Tim Burton-produced, animated holiday scare-fest The Nightmare Before Christmas returns to Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre for a limited engagement. The movie will run from October 17 through October 23, with follow up Halloween shows that will happen between October 30 through November 1.

The film will be presented in Disney Digital 3-D, adding a new visual dimension to the beloved cult classic. El Capitan will also celebrate this special engagement by including a display of original sets, props, and artifacts from the film. The Disney Soda Fountain and Studio Store, which is located adjacent to the El Capitan, will offer "The Oogie Boogie Special," a sundae concocted with pumpkin-flavored ice cream, creepy crawly candy pests, and green marshmallows. Not to be outdone, the studio store will also offer 12 exclusive and limited-edition pins commemorating the film, which has a legion of dedicated fans.

The film, which was originally released in 1993, will screen daily at 10:00 AM, 12:15 PM, 2:30 PM, 4:45 PM, 7:00 PM, 9:15 PM, and 11:15 PM, and tickets can be purchased online or at the El Capitan box office, located at 6838 Hollywood Boulevard.
