Photo Recap: The Ting Tings/Santogold - Wiltern Theater - Los Angeles, CA

The MySpace Goldrush Tour brought out the hippest crowd of fourty-niners to ever come panning for beats in Los Angeles. In a bill stacked deeper than some of this year's festival lineups, the Ting Tings headlined a night that saw five separate acts take the stage in a pop-tronic night of entertainment. Opening the show before most people even make it home from work, Low vs. Diamond and Alice Smith warmed up the crowd with short sets, before husband and wife duo Mates of States laid their blissed-out harmonies on the growing crowd. By the time new-wave dancing queen Santogold took the stage to lead her choreographed backup singers through their bass explorations, all hips were primed for shakin'. The dance party carried right through the end of the evening and the Ting Ting's set—not even giving way to the band's unfortunate technical difficulties.
