Eric Bana and F. Gary Gray Are Armored

Eric Bana is "this close" to starring in Armored, Millenium Films retitled remake of the 2004 French heist flick, Le Convoyeur. F. Gary Gray is attached to direct.

The remake will take place in Michigan and center on a man who works for an armored car company and ends up becoming a part of an internal heist. Bana was considering taking a role in the film a year ago but backed off before coming back to accept. The film's remake title may change again, as well, since Screen Gems already has an upcoming film with the same title. Filming commences on April 1 of next year, which could interfere with Bana's promotion schedule for May's Star Trek.

In other Gray news, the director has officialy signed on to helm Law Abiding Citizen, the film we just wrote about yesterday starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler.
