Ellen Barkin Producing Rat Bastard
Actress Ellen Barkin is set to produce Rat Bastard, a comedic film about a conman who seeks revenge against his former partner after the partner makes off with their loot and hides out while posing as a chef for a family living on the Upper East Side of New York City.Barkin will share producer credits with Caroline Kaplan for Applehead Pictures. Gary Winick, who recently wrapped the Kate Hudson/Anne Hathaway comedy Bride Wars, has been hired to direct the film.
