No, really
Wax McCartney Head Missing
A wax version of Paul McCartney's head went missing on a train last Thursday, leading its owner, Joby Carter to offer a $4,000 reward for its return. Carter left the head on a train that was headed from London to Reading and had intended on selling it for between $10,000 and $20,000 at an auction."The silly thing is since the appeal to find the head we've had more bids come in and the sell price is guaranteed to have gone up," Carter said in a statement. "But until it is found it is worthless."
Sir McCartney's dome was made in the '60s and put on display at the Louis Tussauds museum in Great Yarmouth until it fell into Carter's hands.
