'Murmur' Reissue Set For Fall Release

R.E.M. will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their classic Murmur LP on November 25 with a remastered/reissued 2-disc version through I.R.S./UMe. While the first CD features such college rock standards as "Radio Free Europe" and "Perfect Circle," the second CD includes a live set captured at Larry's Hideaway in Toronto three months after the album's 1983 release.

Aside from 28 songs in total, the deluxe set has liner notes written by producers Mitch Easter and Don Dixon and execs from R.E.M.'s former label, I.R.S.
