Sony Pictures Classics Acquires Every Little Step
Sony Pictures Classics has acquired the rights to Every Little Step, a documentary from Endgame Entertainment about A Chorus Line. SPC will handle the North American and Australian rights to the film, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film follows actors auditioning for the revival of the successful Broadway show about rejection and survival in the emotionally and physically rigorous world of Broadway musicals. A 1985 film, simply titled A Chorus Line, was released starring Michael Douglas. This particular documentary was originally intended to be a potentially non-scripted television series, but those plans never came to pass.
