Summit Announces Release Date for Push

Summit Entertainment has announced February 6, 2009 as the release date of Push, the supernatural thriller starring Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, Chris Evans, and Djimon Honsou.

The film is an action-thriller that takes place amidst the world of paranormal operatives who are able to move objects with their minds, see the future, create new realities, and kill without touching victims. In the film, Evans and Fanning play Nick and Cassie, a second generation telekinetic, or, "mover," and a clairvoyant, respectively. The duo takes on The Division, a shadowy government agency that transforms citizens into psychic warriors, while searching for Belle's character, Kira, an escaped "pusher" who is able to influence others by planting actions within their own minds. Hounsou will play a bad guy who works within The Division.
