Phil Spector Retrial To Begin Tomorrow
Opening statements in Phil Spector's murder retrial are set to start tomorrow in Los Angeles. The last of six alternate jurors was sworn in yesterday after saying that her brother's suicide would not affect her decision in Spector's case. (His defense team has suggested that actress Lana Clarkson killed herself and was not shot by the legendary producer at his home in 2003.)Spector's first trial ended in a 10-2 deadlock, with most jurors in favor of a guilty decision.
