HBO Pitch Tabloid-tastic Sitcom

According to The Daily Star, HBO is trying to sign Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton up for a sitcom that's "a cross between Friends and Ugly Betty." A source close to the potential show told the paper, "The chemistry between them will be electric. They were very close and have had their ups and downs in the Los Angeles party world but they have overcome those problems now. They can draw from their experiences for the sitcom."

Indeed they can, and with Ricky Gervais (The Office, Extras) reportedly in talks to write the show, it just might be hilarious. As for who would play what, Hilton is up for a fashion designer part, Spears is supposed to be an aspiring singer, and Lohan's character is "obsessed with men and food … like a female Joey from Friends."
