    MTV Puts 'TRL' To Rest

50 Cent, Fall Out Boy, Backstreet Boys and Beyoncé have all agreed to perform at next month's two-hour "Total Finale Live" show, the last hurrah of the 10-year-old series. Former host Carson Daly will co-emcee the event along with current host Damien Fahey. Appearances are also expected from past VJs (Dave Holmes, Hilarie Burton, La La Vasquez and... Jesse Camp!) and such artists as Ludacris, Mariah Carey, Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Fred Durst, Taylor Swift, and members of Good Charlotte and Korn.

"TRL has been a major part of MTV—and the world of music—for the last decade, and we're pulling out all the stops for 'Total Finale Live,'" Dave Sirulnick, MTV's Executive Vice President of News and Production, said in a statement. "One of the aspects we're most proud of is TRL's impact on pop culture, whether it was through exposing hundreds of artists to fans on a daily basis or foreshadowing what goes on in today's online communities. Audience participation, the fans' desire to share comments, and how musicians were able to 'connect' on a personal basis with their fans was core to TRL, and is core to the digital music experience today."

"Total Finale Live" will air on Sunday, November 16, at 8 p.m. ET. To find out more, head to TRL.MTV.com.
