Michael Douglas and Mary-Louise Parker Head to Solitary Confinement

Michael Douglas and Mary-Louise Parker will enjoy a May/December romance in the forthcoming film Solitary for Millennium Films.

The storyline centers on Ben, played by Douglas, an auto dealership owner whose career and marriage have gone to the toilet due to his questionable and unethical behavior. Parker will play Jordan, a high-society woman who becomes Ben's lover.

Susan Sarandon, Danny DeVito and Jenna Fischer all have roles in the film. Brian Koppelman and David Levien will share directing duties. Koppelman penned the film's script. Filming begins shortly in New York.
