Keanu Reeves Wins Suit

Keanu Reeves has won the civil suit that was levied against him by a rogue photographer who claimed that Reeves was responsible for injuries that stemmed from an accident involving both parties. Reeves appeared in court every day during the short trial and was said to have signed autographs when they were requested.

It took jurors, many of whom have jobs in Hollywood, only three hours to unanimously decide that Reeves wasn't negligent and didn't owe the paparazzo a dime for his troubles. Photogrpaher Alison Silva claimed that the actor owed him $711,974 in damages, including medical bills, lost wages, and punitive damages stemming from an incident in 2007. Silva claimed Reeves backed into him with his Porsche. Lawyers presented evidence that Silva's injuries weren't as serious as he claimed.

Despite losing the case, Silva has claimed that he will return to work as a member of the paparazzi.
