McG and WB Team Up Again

Director McG will direct Dead Spy Running for Warner Brothers. WB recently acquired the rights to the spy novel penned by British author Jon Stock.

The book, about the adventures and origins of a newly trained spy, is due out on shelves next summer through HarperCollins' Blue Door imprint. McG will also produce the film via his studio deal at Wonderland Sound and Vision.

The director just wrapped production on the hotly-anticipated Terminator: Salvation, the big budget relaunch of the Terminator franchise, which is due out through WB on May 22, 2009.
