Timbaland has signed on as the executive producer of Vinyl, a film Billboard.com describes as "five young women facing life-altering decisions about their relationships with members of a rock band." Timbaland's Mosley Media Group is pairing up with Effie T. Brown's Duly Noted Inc. (Real Women Have Curves, Rocket Science) for the project, which begins shooting in the spring under the guidance of director/writer Richard Zelniker.

In the past, Timbaland has lent his music to more than 50 film and TV projects. He plans on promoting Vinyl with behind-the-scenes content for cell phones.
