Gary Oldman Joins Book of Eli
Gary Oldman will star opposite Denzel Washington in the Warner Brothers/Alcon Entertainment film The Book of Eli, an action-thriller that takes place in post-apocalyptic America.Oldman will play Carnegie, the leader of a small makeshift town that lacks in supplies and law and order, among other necessary things. He tries to take possession of the sacred book that holds the key to saving the future that is being guarded by Washington's Eli and, thus, a battle ensues.
Filming is still scheduled to begin in February in New Mexico. WB has attached a January 15, 2010 release date to the film.
