Franka Potente Lost At Sea
German actress Franka Potente will star in a lost-at-sea tragedy dubbed Wave. Tortilla Soup director Maria Ripoll will lense the picture on a $11.5 million budget.Wave will be based on the true story of three members of an English family who were adrift at sea for two weeks with out food or water. Potente's character is the sole survivor and she is ultimately accused of killing her husband and child while lost on the open water. The film will look at the emotional and legal ordeal faced by the character as she deals with the loss of her family and the charges that are laid at ther door. The film will begin shooting on February 9 of next year and the source material is Let Me Survive, which was written by the woman who survived.
