First Independent Pictures Acquires Gigantic
Gigantic, an oddball indie comedy that features Paul Dano as a mattress salesman named Brian who wants to adopt a Chinese baby but eventually becomes obsessed with Happy, a young woman played by Zooey Deschanel, has been acquired by First Independent Pictures. Matt Aselton wrote and directed the pic.John Goodman and Ed Asner also star in the film. Dano executive produced the film, too. A release date has yet to be determined.
