Whoopi Goldberg Makes Discovery

Actress and former Academy Awards host Whoopi Goldberg has entered into a development deal with Discovery Emerging Networks. The actress will develop a few series projects for Investigation Discovery and the Science Channel through her Whoop Inc. production company. Goldberg's production partner Tom Leonardis will work with Goldberg on all possible projects.

The deal includes a clause where at least one of the ideas presented by Goldberg and Leonardis must be greenlit into production. Goldberg is currently enjoying a stint as a yakker on TV's highly-rated gabfest, The View.
