Gossip Girl Creator Josh Schwartz Looks to X-Men
Gossip Girl creator and scribe Josh Schwartz will write the script for X-Men: First Class, the fourth film in the blockbuster X-Men franchise for Fox Studios. The film's plot will have a teenaged bend to it and given Schwartz's background, he was an obvious fit for the studio.X-Men: First Class will feature a younger group of superheroes and Hugh Jackman will return to his star-making role as Wolverine for the fourth time. The film is a prequel and may focus on major characters when they were teenagers or it may look at those attending the mutant school that was introduced in the original trilogy.
