    No Doubt Reveals Long-Awaited Reunion

An instant message conversation posted on No Doubt's official Web site, http://www.nodoubt.com/, has pointed out their reunion plans for 2009. In the exchange between vocalist Gwen Stefani and guitarist Tom Dumont, the former says, "I have cabin fever. Maybe we should play some shows or something." To which Stefani responds, "I think we should go out now. I don't think we should wait. Pack up the babies and get a bunch of nannies. So fun! Would be so inspiring to get out there and play all those songs again."

No Doubt's previous LP was 2001's Rock Steady, and the last time they were on the road was a 2004 tour. While Stefani has released two solo albums in the interim, the rest of the group has followed their own solo/studio work path. No Doubt started working on a new record earlier this year, but their efforts have been slightly hampered by the birth of Stefani's second son in late August.
