Not a Dawson's Creek retread, either
James Van Der Beek Back on TV
James Van Der Beek, who catapulted to fame as the lead character in the rife-with-drama, late '90s teen sudser Dawson's Creek, is returning the medium that made him famous. He will co-star with David Denman in the pilot for Fox's TV show, Eva Adams. The hour-long show is set at a sports agency. The lead character is Adam, a sexist agent with a raging ego who falls under the spell of a witch and is subsequently turned into a beautiful woman. The role reversal forces him to experience the type of harassment he has been doling out to females throughout his career. Van Der Beek will star as Connor, one of Adam's good friends and a fellow agent at the firm. Denman will portray Paul, another agent who is a single dad recovering from the effects of his recent divorce.
Van Der Beek will also appear on the WB's One Tree Hill shortly.
